FAQS

Have a question?

Find answers to some of the questions asked most frequently by our clients

  • Does it cover tenant-related issues like missed rent payments?

Some policies offer rent guarantee or legal expenses cover. We can help you compare options and find the right protection for your rental property.

  • What is private medical insurance (PMI)?

Private medical insurance covers the cost of private healthcare, giving you quicker access to diagnosis, treatment, and consultations outside of the NHS. It’s designed to reduce waiting times and offer more flexibility over when and where you're treated.

  • What’s not covered by PMI?

    Most policies do not cover:

    • Routine GP visits or emergency care
    • Chronic or pre-existing conditions (unless declared and accepted)
    • Pregnancy and childbirth
    • Cosmetic surgery

Exclusions vary, so always check your policy terms.

  • Will my premiums increase over time?

Typically, yes. Premiums may rise due to:

    • Your age
    • Claims history
    • Medical inflation (rising healthcare costs)

We can review your cover regularly to ensure it stays cost-effective.

  • Do I need PMI if I already use the NHS?

PMI doesn’t replace the NHS — it complements it. It provides faster access to treatment and more comfort and privacy, but the NHS is still there for emergencies and comprehensive care.
